The answer is yes - and if you haven't already started planning on migrating to a more modern desktop operating system, you're already late.
Windows XP may have served you well for a long time, but when official support ends, the operating system will immediately become vulnerable to reversed-engineered patches that Microsoft releases for other operating systems:
Not only that, but there will be no more driver support, meaning that any new devices that you buy will almost certainly NOT work with your old operating system.
This is a public service announcement of a sort - if you haven't already started to do so, begin planning on migrating from Windows XP to a more modern desktop operating system like Windows 7 (or preferably Windows 8 ) as soon as possible to prevent potential security risks and incompatibility problems.
